Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart
The 4th World Seabird Conference (WSC4) will take place at the Hotel Grand Chancellor, a distinguished waterfront venue in the centre of Hobart. The hotel offers modern conference facilities complemented by panoramic views of kunanyi / Mount Wellington and the Derwent River, providing an inspiring setting for scientific exchange.
Hotel Booking and Discounted Rates
Registered participants will have the opportunity to book accommodation at preferential rates during the conference registration process.
Please note that if accommodation is booked via the registration process, the accommodation booking confirmation is included in the registration confirmation. A separate reservation confirmation will not be sent directly by the hotel.
If accommodation is not secured at the time of registration, a unique booking link will be sent approximately three months before the conference, providing access to the negotiated discounted rates.

Terms and Conditions
A valid credit card is required to secure the booking. Payment will be taken upon check-in at the hotel, and a physical card will be required. Cancellation of room nights within 7 days will incur the full accommodation amount, as will no-show rooms.

Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival, including partial or full cancellations of individual rooms, will incur a charge equal to the full accommodation cost for each room cancelled.
No-shows will be charged the full accommodation cost for each room booked.
